The latest project of our company, the Mona Plaza hotel, has opened its front door on December 16. The first workday was marked by the employee conference within the Mona Hotel Management group, and the first guests were the colleagues from our hotels in Belgrade, on Zlatibor and Javor.
Built on downtown Dorćol, the Mona Plaza hotel represents an excellent choice for organizing business events, as well as private celebrations and festivities. The hotel features a large multifunctional banquet area with 11 conference rooms, the largest of which has the capacity of up to 400 persons in theatre arrangement. The conference-exhibition area spanning three levels and more than 2.000 m2, makes our hotel the largest congress center in this part of the city, with available parking and a two-level underground garage.
Guests at the Mona Plaza hotel, categorized by four stars, have at their disposal 170 spacious rooms and suites with a modern interior. They can enjoy a rich selection of coffees and chocolate treats in the cafeteria and pastry shop, Šonda bar is an excellent choice for some respite or a night out, while the large restaurant will accommodate the guests in a pleasant ambiance where they can taste numerous specialties of traditional and international cuisine. Guests will also have at their disposal the fitness and wellness center equipped with the latest technology, until spring 2020. when the grand opening of the hotel is scheduled.
The Mona Plaza hotel was built on the corner of Solunska street and Cara Uroša street, at the location where the first Serbian chocolate factory Kosta Šonda once stood. The old building of the previous factory was given a new look and is now a part of our hotel, and the sweet history is revived through chocolate treats which our guests will be able to enjoy every day.
